Tx CodeCompass Pro is an offline-first field reference tool. We do not require an account to use the App, we do not run advertising or analytics tracking, and we do not sell your information. Anything you type into the App is stored on your own device. The App contacts outside services only to deliver features you ask for, such as map and parcel lookups.
Notes, jurisdiction inputs, parcel details, saved violation photos, search history, and your subscription license status are stored locally on your device (in your browser/app storage). This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.
When you use the map and parcel features, the address or map location you look up is sent to third-party mapping and geospatial providers so they can return results. We do not attach your name or identity to these requests. These providers process your query under their own privacy policies:
If you prefer not to share map queries with these services, you can use the App's offline features (code lookup, references, and the violation library) without opening the map.
Full access to the App is available by subscription, handled by our payment provider through our website. When you activate or verify a subscription, your license key and a device-activation count are exchanged with the licensing service to confirm access. Payments are processed entirely by our payment provider; we do not receive or store your payment card details. Please review the payment provider's own privacy policy for how it handles checkout information.
Tx CodeCompass Pro is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the App keeps your information on your own device rather than on our servers, you control its retention. We recommend using a device passcode. Clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App removes the locally stored information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
